The acting Inspector-General of Police, Olukayode Egbetokun, has given assurance to the people of Bayelsa, Imo, and Kogi States regarding the upcoming November 11, 2023, elections, stating that the police high command has implemented sufficient security measures.
During a press conference held on Thursday, he expressed his commitment to this pledge after a meeting with Strategic Police Managers at the Force Headquarters in Abuja.
He also urged voters to adhere to the regulations governing elections and abstain from engaging in any acts of violence.
