A fire incident on Sunday razed down three communities in the Kiyawa Local Government area of Jigawa State.
A resident, who spoke to Daily Post, confirmed that the affected communities include Malamawa, Karangiya, and Kwalele.
The spokesman for the Nigerian Security and Civil Defense Corp, Jigawa State Command, Adamu Shehu, also confirmed the incident.
Adamu said no human life was lost, but some people were affected by the smoke and were rushed to Kiyawa LGA hospital for proper medical care.
The cause of the fire was unknown at the time of filing this report.
