Nurse Who Treated Mohbad Not Our Member — Association

The National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives (NANNM) has clarified that the suspected nurse who injected the late Mohbad was not their member.

This is even as the association urged news outlets to always “verify the qualifications and professional status of individuals before labelling them as healthcare professionals.”

The Lagos state chapter of the association on Saturday described the suspect as an ‘auxiliary nurse’, adding that “the individual reportedly taken into custody by the police for providing care to Mohbad is not a registered nurse.”
