The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has extended the payment deadline for the 2024 pilgrimage.
The new deadline is now January 31, 2024, as against the December 31, 2023 deadline announced earlier, according to a statement by the commission’s, Assistant Director on Public Affairs, Fatima Sanda Usara.
Fatima Usara stated that the extension, is “in response to the heartfelt concerns raised by religious clerics, State Pilgrims’ Welfare Boards/Agencies/Commissions, State Governors and other stakeholders for an extension thus providing an additional opportunity for individuals to participate in this sacred pilgrimage.”
