The Elegushi Royal Family of Eti-Osa in Lagos State has distanced themselves from music promoter Samson Balogun, popularly known as Sam Larry, amid the controversy surrounding the death of singer Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba, widely known as Mohbad.
In the wake of the controversies surrounding the untimely death of the ‘Feel Good’ singer, there have been online rumours suggesting that Sam Larry and his former record label boss Naira Marley had consistently harassed the deceased.
In an official statement released by the Palace on Thursday, the Elegushi Royal Family explicitly denied any affiliation or association with Sam Larry.
The statement clarified that Sam Larry is neither a member of the royal family nor employed by them in any capacity.
