Kano Tribunal: Yusuf To Appeal Ruling
Kano State Governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf has called the ruling of the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal that voided his election and declared Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna as winner a complete miscarriage of justice, saying he will appeal the judgement.
The tribunal had on Wednesday through the three judges panel voided Yusuf’s victory and ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to withdraw the certificate of return presented to the Governor.
It also directed a certificate of return to be issued to Gawuna.
