The Governor of Kano State, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has suspended the Managing Director of the state Kano Agricultural Supply Company (KASCO), (Dr.) Tukur Dayyabu Minjibir.
According to the Governor’s directive, the suspension is with immediate effect.
The governor’s decision was part of his effort to fight corruption in the state.
Following the suspension, Governor Yusuf also ordered a swift investigation, reiterating his commitment to zero tolerance to corruption.
