The Federal Government has granted waivers to hospitals for the employment of health workers to improve healthcare delivery.
The Minister of State for Health, Doctor Tunji Alausa, disclosed this on Thursday during an official visit to the University College Hospital, UCH, Ibadan.
Doctor Alausa said that medical directors would get waivers for employment from 2024, as the Federal Ministry of Health would be setting up a waiver committee that would be in charge of all hospitals.
