Chelsea midfielder Romeo Lavia has expressed his disappointment after being ruled out for the rest of the season due to a fresh injury setback.
The 20-year-old, who joined the Blues from Southampton last summer in a £60 million pounds deal, has been plagued by injuries throughout the year.
He has made only one substitute appearance for his new club, Chelsea. Lavia had been hoping to make a return to training this month, but his season-ending injury has put paid to that. Writing on Instagram on Wednesday, the youngster promised to keep working hard to regain fitness and contribute to Chelsea’s success in future seasons.
