Nigerian singer, Fireboy DML has explained why he and his colleague, Rema, decided to collaborate instead of beefing as expected by fans.

He said they took the decision because they are “advanced”.

Fireboy and Rema were subjects of comparisons on social media after hitting stardom in the same year. The comparisons subsided after Fireboy featured Rema on a track titled, ‘Compromise’ off his third studio album, ‘Playboy’.

The collaborative song was an indication that they were on good terms.
