Nasarawa United technical director, Kabiru Dogo is relieved to see his side end their barren run.
The Solid Miners ended their four-game winless run with a 2-1 victory over Bendel Insurance in a matchday 14 fixture on Wednesday.
Dogo believed that the victory was a reward for hard work.
“I am incredibly proud of the team’s effort,” Dogo stated to the media after the game.
“We have been working tirelessly to address our recent struggles, and it’s rewarding to see the players’ hard work pay off.
“With this renewed confidence and momentum, the team will look to build on this victory and climb the Premier League’s upper table.”
Nasarawa United moved to 18th position on the league table with the win.
